Since late May, when we announced the upcoming
releases of both NX™ 6 and Solid Edge® with synchronous
technology software, market anticipation has been
extremely high. Industry analysts and users alike
expressed great excitement over synchronous technology,
a true industry breakthrough that combines the speed and
flexibility of direct modeling with the precise control
of dimension-driven design, providing an exceptionally
fast, flexible and dynamic design experience.
While the potential productivity this technology
promised was obvious, the best proof was yet to come,
with the release of the first products to incorporate
it. That moment has now arrived. NX 6 is now being
shipped to our customers globally and Solid Edge is
expected to ship later this month.
